In one sentence, what problem do you solve and for who?

I help small businesses and women entrepreneurs create strategic, authentic brand identities and websites that reflect the true quality of their work and make marketing effortless.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

Being a FoundHer, to me, is about having the courage to build something of your own even when it feels hard or uncertain. It’s trusting yourself, putting in the work, and holding onto what really matters. And it’s also about not doing it alone — having other women around who get the ups and downs and can cheer you on makes all the difference.

What's your story?

Design has always been more than a career for me — it’s a calling. I’ve loved the way design connects creativity with communication, helping people instantly understand and connect with an idea. Growing up with parents who ran their own business, I saw both the challenges and freedoms of entrepreneurship firsthand, and it shaped the way I approach my work. That experience drives my passion for supporting small businesses and women entrepreneurs — people who are pouring their heart into what they do and deserve to have that reflected in how their business shows up in the world.

How do you support other female founders and women in business?

I support other female founders by sharing what I’ve learned in business, being generous with resources, and making real connections whenever I can. Sometimes that looks like using their products or services, leaving a Google review, or recommending them to friends and in local Facebook groups. Other times it’s interacting on social media, making introductions, or just being a sounding board.

How did you land your first client?

I landed my first client by posting in a local moms’ Facebook group. Someone reached out, we set up a virtual consultation, and it turned into my very first project. It was simple, but it reminded me how powerful community connections can be.

What is something you do differently from the industry standard?

Something I do differently from the industry standard is how I stay connected with clients long after the initial project wraps up. A lot of designers send off the final files and that’s the end of it. I like to build real relationships and be a partner for the long haul — offering regular check-ins, monthly emails with design tips and FAQs, and even a free yearly brand check-in. It’s important to me that their brand identity keeps working for them as their business grows.

What was an obstacle you overcame to get your business where it is today?

Confidence has been one of my biggest hurdles. Early in my career, I’d look at the work of expert designers and immediately feel like I didn’t measure up. I was afraid of not being perfect, and that fear held me back from taking risks. Over time, I realized that being in a creative profession isn’t about perfection — it’s about courage. Courage to put your ideas out there, to keep learning, and to trust your own voice. Finding that confidence has changed everything for me and for my business.

What are the first five things that you did when you were starting your business?

The first five things I did when starting my business: I had professional branding photos taken, designed a strategic brand identity for myself, built a portfolio, and launched a website. Then I sent an email to friends, family, and my community to let them know what I was up to. Those early steps gave me a strong foundation and helped me feel confident putting myself out there.

What are 5-7 of your favorite female founded products, services or brands?

Canva, Workflows by Ronna, Nicola Levine Photography, Magnolia, Rifle Paper Co.
