In one sentence, what problem do you solve and for who?

I’m a board certified OB/GYN physician who specializes in injectables such as Botox, filler, biostimulators and more. My goal is to achieve natural looking results with the pts concerns in mind.

What's your story?

I started my career in women’s health 13 years ago and have always been dedicated to helping women feel their healthiest and happiest. When I started doing injectables 8 years ago, it became such a natural transition as I was helping women feel good inside and outside. My background as a surgeon has given me a unique perspective on injectables and safety.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

For me, being a female FoundHer means taking the leap to believe in myself — even when the path isn’t clear. It’s about transforming challenges into opportunities, balancing my roles as a mother, physician, and entrepreneur, and showing my children what it looks like to dream big and work hard.

How do you support other female founders and women in business?

Supporting their Instagram content, buying things from them or choosing to take their classes. Tagging them in posts whenever I use their services.

What are three podcasts you listen to that have helped you with your business?

  1. Fill me in

  2. Women’s Health

  3. Dear FoundHER

Who is a female entrepreneur you look up to and why?

Rana Kennelly - she works hard to build her business but she also lifts up everyone who works for her so they can come into their light too.

What are the first five things that you did when you were starting your business?

  1. Tell my friends so they would hold me accountable!

  2. Lots of business paperwork to establish my company

  3. Work on social media content

  4. Tell myself that it would take 2-3 years before I saw the rewards of my hard work

  5. Buy products and a nice injecting chair

Who is someone who has helped change or shape your business for the better and what did they do to help you?

My friends who have been supporting and telling everyone about me. Liking my posts, making sure to refer their friends to me

What lesson or skill did you take with you from a prior job to help you succeed in your role today?

It’s hard to be an owner and it takes a lot of your free time to do the business stuff. But it’s worth it to be your own boss.

Let’s talk social media—who handles it for your company and what is the secret to making it successful? What is the biggest challenge?

I have a company that helps me - I send them content and they create reels and posts and then I approve what gets posted.

How did you land your first client?

Word of mouth.

What is something you do differently from the industry standard?

Two week touch ups and a complimentary referral program.

What would you do differently if you were starting your business today?

Buy less product and only get what I needed.

What are three strategies you use to market your business, grow brand awareness and generate bottom line growth?

  1. social media

  2. word of mouth

  3. referral program

  4. full consultations

What was an obstacle you overcame to get your business where it is today? Please share the story behind it.

It’s a saturated market and I feel like competition for med spas is higher.

What are three actionable tips you would give with other women who want to start a business or are just getting started?

  1. It’s never too late!

  2. You have to be willing to make some sacrifices to pursue life as a business owner.

  3. There will be good and bad days, but you have to keep pushing through.
