What do you do and who do you help?

I coach high achieving women into genuinely loving the life they are living by intuitively using deep inner work tools and practices (for instance: somatic, parts work, unconscious reprogramming, projection work) to effectively clear out the old stuck energy that is creating a fog over their dream life; these women appear to "have it all" and their biggest pain point is embodying the deep and real joy—or aliveness—they thought they would have. My friends call me a healing coach, but that isn't always relatable to my clients.

What's your story? Share how you got to where you are and WHY it is you do what you do.

Hi! I'm Randi, I live in Deerfield with my family - David (married 19 years!), Josie (senior), and Eli (Sophomore), and our two dogs.

Before coaching, I built a successful 17-year career at the Federal Reserve Bank as an analyst and project manager, supporting strategic initiatives that advanced the organization’s mission. This job was such a dream. I LOVED it, the adrenaline, the mission, the collaboration with my team, firm deadlines and results. Everyone I worked with had a passion to succeed and it was an energy that really felt alive. Plus it was downtown, I got to work with some of the most intelligent humans, and I received tons of recognition and felt accomplished.

At the same time, my husband and I were raising our family in the suburbs of Chicago balancing the challenges of marriage, parenting, and two demanding careers. I loved my work at the Fed, but I felt such a pull toward my family—I knew that these years are precious and my passion has always been to soak up my kids and raise them to be healthy, caring, value-driven humans that know what it is to put good in the world. Their years of being under my direct care have a timestamp, and at some point my husband and I made the big decision for me to take a year off from my job, lean into the family, and explore other work options that wouldn't take so much of my time away from my family.

And then...covid, along with a chronic health condition that took a terrible turn, a marriage that was on the brink of survival, and alas—my deep dive into transformational inner work, healing, and coaching, which led to me doubling down on certifications, mastery level school for 2 years in a professional program after 1 year of one-to-one direct mentorship with a womb healer. I already had a decade under my belt with different energy healing modalities, trainings and certifications—because this has always been a passion of mine—but when I discovered inner work and the genuine relief and fulfillment it brought, I realized what I truly wanted was here on this earth to do is guide others through their own transformational experience—so that they can feel supported, worthy, and loved; not just when life is easy, but especially when it’s not.

Today, I bring the depth of inner work and the grounded nature of my first career into every space I hold. I value presence, professionalism, and real-life application to honor the process.

Transformation is more than insight—it requires integration. It’s the bridge between letting go of what doesn’t serve you and stepping into what does. Helping women uncover this for themselves has truly been the most rewarding experience of my life, AND it allows me to carry forward all of my passions with family, life, and career.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

I'm just very excited to be here. To me it means trying new things to grow my business that entice me to expand into my growth's edge. It means meeting, supporting, and celebrating women that are out there doing it and role modeling that other women can do it too! It means having support when I try something that feels like a flop and also getting to celebrate the growth and wins of my own business, big and small. I am just now transitioning into a business: I've had my LLC for 3 years, however, to date, my business is driven by referrals and I am looking forward to growing my business organically using additional methods so that I can serve more women who are seeking this kind of support in their life.

How do you support other female founders and women in business?

Right now, I do what I can to help share their gifts; whether it's connecting people who I know would be interested, attending an event, or sharing things on social media. I also coach many women business leaders/female founders and love the idea of partnering up where it makes sense.

What is ONE BOOK that you would recommend every female business owner read?

The Choice by Edith Eger. This is about breaking free from limited beliefs and self-forgiveness in the deepest, most raw, and beautiful ways.

Who is someone who has helped change or shape your business for the better and what did they do to help you?

Olivia S.. She was actually a client, and she reminded me so much of myself when I worked at the Fed, and was working with me because during covid she lost all her motivation and inspiration, she was burned out and riddled with self-shame and judgment about it. Because she responded so well to a professional environment, it inspired me to tap into my fed hat and bring a level of professionalism into my coaching that I had been lacking. Basically Olivia was a mirror for me, and the fact that she stuck through the entire coaching package and by using the tools and practices in our sessions, she upgraded her life in the most tremendous way. That was such gift!

At what point did you make your company a full time gig? How did you know the time was right?

Working on this right now - so I'm all in on learning the ropes.

What lesson or skill did you take with you from a prior job to help you succeed in your role today?

I actually get to use all of my program management skills in my coaching; the program is not an operating system or a payment system, it's a human life. And, the same two biggies to reach success apply here: 1) Direction and Leadership - have a goal, and be willing to lead toward the goal, and 2) Buy in from the client/team/leadership - for my clients this is the “know your WHY", keep it handy, and come back to it whenever you feel off course.

Finally, as a program manager: working with final goals, intermediate milestones, and different check points, backup plans, getting comfortable with failing forward, getting comfortable with feedback for growth, willingness to lean into the challenges and take the lessons learned; these are truly, truly, truly the recipe for success. When you know where you're going, you will get there faster. AND, sometimes the milestones and end goals change (that's OK) but having the direction and buy in from team/leadership/client from the beginning was what got the ball rolling.

Let’s talk social media—who handles it for your company (you, an internal team member, an outsourced solution?) and what is the secret to making it successful? What is the biggest challenge?

Me. My biggest challenge is consistency, courage, and drive. I have several limited beliefs in this area, like, "what if I say it wrong, what if I accidentally share something embarrassing, I am so bad at technology and can't edit my videos, I don't know what I'm doing, who am I to be doing this, who cares?". That kind of energy keeps hanging around! I've coached myself and paid other coaches to help me, but for some reason this one is pretty sticky.

How did you land your first client?

Whole Foods. Our carts bumped into each other and she randomly asked me what I do and was totally interested.

What is something you do differently from the industry standard?

My coaching is experiential. This isn't talking about your story or me giving you advice. This is about getting present with who you are, creating space and the aperture to grow into your goal. I use parts work, inner child, light work, visualization, meditation, somatic work, and tapping into unconscious beliefs in the tools and practices that I will guide the clients through. Every session is strategic in creating that arc for the client to reach their goal. That's why working in a timeframe like 6, 9, or 12 months is how I work.
